With a lighter and more responsive profile, the Atlas Men's 12 Series 1225 Snowshoe is an ideal floatation platform for extended hikes, winter backpacking and backcountry skiing and snowboarding. Atlas uses a geometry in a ReactiV 7075 aluminum frame for a stiffer, more responsive chassis. The 7075 aluminum material remains the lightest that Atlas has ever used on a snowshoe, but by pairing this design with new components, this season's 1225 snowshoe is almost a half pound lighter, and more energy saved on the trail is more energy you'll have to enjoy at the campsite or back at the mountain yurt. The 1225 also features a new Wrapp Pro binding that's specifically molded with foam padding in a left foot and right foot configuration. This creates a closer, more natural fit that's a few degrees warmer than bindings that are interchangeable between left and right feet. Beneath the Duratek deck you'll find a new Holey-1 toe crampon and stainless steel parallel traction rails for hold. Another nice feature is the waterproof webbing with positive-locking, low-friction roller buckles for enhanced security. The 1225 is a great design for climbing, mountaineering, backpacking and winter trekking. If you're a snowboarder or skier seeking a high floatation snowshoe with an easy-packing configuration.

Crescent Moon was the first snowshoe manufacturer to design a women's specific model and series of shoes to accommodate the differences of a woman's stride. The Gold 13 features a frame which has been bent with a very steep nose and tapered tail to allow the shoes to pass by each other without your changing the way you normally walk. With each step, the shoes will clear away from each other within the distance of your own natural stride. With the new 08/09 changes to the traction system and decking materials you'll should expect an even greater snowshoe experience than ever before.

Designed specifically for the female body in conjunction with an orthopedic gait specialist, the Women's Lightning 22 Snowshoe is the standard in maximum traction at a minimum weight. Taking into consideration a women's shorter stride, faster pace, and narrower stance, these snowshoes are lighter, tapered, and more compact to minimizing muscle and hip fatigue. Additionally, the raised rear frame enhances a more natural stride while reducing heel drag. Using an Aerospace-grade aluminum rail that has been turned on its edge allows for a super light Total-Traction™ frame with 360 degrees of strategically serrated gripping edge. Combined with the True Hinge™ toe crampon, this snowshoe provides unparalleled security. A smaller fitting, precise two-strap step-on binding accommodates a variety of boots that make it quick and easy to trade with a friend. Designed with 100% waterproof materials, the urethane deck and straps won't freeze up, and remain easy to use in all conditions. The Women's Lightning 22 Snowshoe is best when you and your pack weight are 125 lbs. or less on flat and rolling terrain.

Created specifically to match a women's stride, this Women's 1023 Elektra 10 Series snowshoe is a great all-terrain design made for a wide range of abilities. The award-winning Atlas 10 Series is a big step apart for recreational snowshoes developed for hardpack trails, but doesn't strap you into the expensive high-end mountaineering features found on the Atlas 12 and 13 series snowshoe designs. This particular 1023 Snowshoe has the most compact length in the Women's Elektra 10 Series, featuring 145 square inches of surface area and enough floatation to support loads between 80 to 160 lbs. (that's fully loaded with your jacket, boots and pack on). Unlike the snowshoes made for guys, the Atlas Elektra Series offers a narrower tail and nose to match a women's gait. When you consider the 80-lb. load range, it's easy to understand why this versatile design is a superb choice for outdoor enthusiasts who want to hike, trek and climb on the same reliable pair of snowshoes throughout the season. The Elektra 1023 snowshoe features Atlas' patented Spring-Loaded Suspension (ideal for true forward and side hill articulation) with a new Wrapp Plus Binding that features molded left and right arches for a better fit. Atlas also added foam padding along the binding surface for enhanced warmth and extra comfort on long routes. Atlas kept the same 10 Series V frame as previous years and used a new 6061 aluminum material, but beneath it all you'll find a new Holey-1 toe crampon and stainless steel Traverse Trac rails with heel cleats for extra hold. The decking is also a new nylon reinforced material that stays durable but flexible in extreme cold. If you only want to buy one snowshoe for all your days of backyard and backcountry exploring, the Elektra 1023 is an ideal choice. If you need a little bit more floatation for hiking up and around towering cornices in remote spaces (like Greenland or Silverton when the roads are closed for the winter), the Atlas women's Elektra 12 Series snowshoes might be what you need to float above the deepest snow.
