Annual Family Camping Trip: Pinecrest Lake, CA (June 27-30, 2010) Video Part 1

Watch in 480p (high quality). It is finally that time of year again in which my family and I go on our annual camping trip!! We’ve been various camping grounds. This year, it was our favorite place to camp: Pinecrest! Our stay was from June 27-30, 2010. The weather was nice to do camping this year. It was perfect timing since when we left on Sunday, it was actually our first "heat wave" to hit our area. So going up the mountains in Pinecrest, CA won’t be too cold, especially during the evening. So here in this video, it shows you our arrival to Pinecrest, CA. It was just over 3 hours from the Bay Area. Our campsite was right by the lake…it was awesome! This was the best campsite we’ve got. Then after we got settled down, me and my cousins went to see the lake. It was beautiful, and it looked like weather came with me; a thunderhead was formed just east of our area! Then the next day (June 28, 2010), we hiked half way around the lake and we fished for trout. We only got 2. Better than nothing eh? The view was so beautiful and we even saw a small waterfall. Pinecrest Lake is actually mostly of melted snow from the Sierras that’s why it’s freezing! After our short hike, we cooked some BBQ. Then that same day, at sunset time, we again walked to the lake, bringing with us the doggies this time. We were having a little too much fun We also walked along the docks at the Marina. Then it shows a short calming time at the western beaches of the lake. Later, the video ends with our 2nd evening here at PInecrest, CA.
